The concept that lies behind the creation of this fragrance was inspired by Beyonce’s on-stage persona, as well as by “female empowerment and finding the inner strength that makes women so beautiful" (wwd). The fragrance is supposedly more intimate and more natural than the previous ones, inspired by the works of singer's favorite poet Maya Angelou.

Beyonce is a new fragrance brand. The earliest edition was created in 2010 and the newest is from 2017. Beyonce fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Claude Dir, Olivier Gillotin, Honorine Blanc, Bruno Jovanovic, Carlos Vinals and Loc Dong.
